I don't assume the metallic is low cost; if truth be told, it is extra non-stick than any non-stick pan I've always applyd. I still like to cook on it as it is simple smooth and handy, however sadly as of los angelesst night it just stopped working. The gentle was on, but in the center of making evening meal, the warmth went off. Turning it off and on and unplugging it didn't work, either. I am contacting the producer to see a integrate of alternative.
